Can I add cameras to my ADT system?

In short, yes you can. Our cameras have everything from intelligent motion detection to 24/7 recording. They’re a great way to protect your home and make the most of your security system. But which one’s for you? And how do you add them?

We have a range of cameras you can add to your ADT system. Choose which one works best for your needs or combine them to make sure every corner of your home is covered:

VIDEO DOORBELL

Video doorbells protect your home before intruders even reach the front door. Motion detection alerts you via the ADT Smart Services app that someone is approaching, your camera lets you see who it is and two-way audio lets you can talk to them as if you were home.

Wi-Fi CAMERAS

Waterproof, 1080p and connected with built in motion detection, these cameras can be placed in or outdoors to give you a crystal-clear picture of what’s going on at home. Developed to recognise the difference in movement from humans, light, wind and animals, ADT cameras will let you know exactly what’s set it off so you can decide the best action to take.

And with the new ‘Scenes’ feature on our Smart Services app you can set them up to work with your home – from notifications if there’s movement on your perimeter to recording when the kids get home from school.

Add in the feature of intelligent motion detection that come built into the new wifi cameras.

CCTV

With CCTV, you can record 24/7 without relying on an internet connection. Add up to 16 cameras with two, five, or eight-megapixels to keep your home covered - as opposed to a maximum of four smart cameras. Great for a bigger property.

You can also choose from bullet, eyeball, turret or vandal resistant cameras, with infrared and white light illuminators. And search for recordings based on time or event.

Going smart

The first thing to remember if you choose connected cameras is that they require our ADT Smart Home package. So, if you have an existing non smart Keyholder, Police Response or Private Response you’ll need to upgrade first.
